TV style salt and pepper on startup..

Hi,

OK so a few times now upon starting up my system the Raven MTi2 screen is salt and pepper, not responsive.
The regular 28" LCD I have works fine, but the menu is on the Raven as per instructions.
A restart has fixed the issue, and TechToolPro comes back with a pass for the video card.
Is it possible the Raven is dying and how can I tell?
Please help.
